Black Sesame Technologies Inc. (BST) sponsors the Duke Center of Computational Evolutionary Intelligence (CEI) Lab for a research project on large-scale deep neural network compression. Black Sesame Technologies Inc. is a world lead developer and application of visual perception technology funded by Silicon Valley veterans with many years of expertise on image processing, computer vision and embedded system design. CEI, co-directed by Professors Yiran Chen and Hai Li, explores the research frontiers in emerging computing platforms for cognitive applications. BST and CEI will collaborate on deep neural network quantization, adaptive memory relocation and the segmentation algorithm optimization.
