Yuanchao Xu

Dr. Yuanchao Xu is now an associate professor in the college of information engineering at the Capital Normal University, Beijing, China. He received his B.S. degree in computer science from Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) in 1998, M.S degree in computer science from Beihang University (BUAA) in 2002, and Ph.D. degree in computer architecture from Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2012. After he graduated from BUAA, he joined the Capital Normal University in 2002 as an assistant professor. He was promoted to associate professor in 2016. From 2012 to 2013, he was a visiting researcher assistant with State Key Laboratory of Computer Architecture, Beijing, China. From 2013 to 2014, he was a visiting scholar with the Intelligent Design of Efficient Architectures Laboratory (IDEAL) at the University of Florida.  His research interests fall in the area of computer system and architecture, with a focus on architecture and system support for non-volatile memory systems in the next-generation datacenters. Dr. Xu co-authored more than forty papers, part of which published in the top conferences and journals.
